Defense was strong with a total of 53 digs. Senior captain Lauren Brown set up the offense with 23 assists.
Last Tuesday, the girls easily put down non-league rival Lake Orion 25-18, 25-12 and 25-10.
Stroope paced the Wildcats offense once again, tallying 16 kills, while senior right side Alexandra Johnson had five kills.
Moncrieff had a great all around game with nine kills in the front row and two blocks, and 11 digs in the back row.
Senior captain Jacqui Sylva had 15 digs in the victory, while Brown and senior Morgan Stefanski combined for 25 assists.
‘This was a very important game for us because we drew Lake Orion in the first round of districts on Nov. 1,? said coach Kristi McDevitt.
‘We wanted to send a message that we were a force ? I think we got that across to them.?
Oxford is now 9-0 in the league.
‘One team, one goal, one chance ? these girls are hungry for the FML league title,? McDevitt said.
