Quilters display work at Canterbury Village

On Feb. 23 and 24, the Great Lakes Heritage Quilt Guild hosted a quilt show at Olde World Canterbury Village.
Over 160 quilts were on display, submitted by individuals from all over southeast Michigan.
Among the submissions was “Where the Pretty Bugs Live” created by Carolyn Vagts, owner of The Village Quilt Shoppe located at Canterbury.
Her submission, comprised of the blocks of the month she designs for her customers, also featured two months of intricate beading.
