Woman needs medical help, assaults police officer while waiting
Lake Orion police responded to a home on Buena Vista Avenue for a wellness check at 10:42 a.m. Dec. 1.
Upon investigating, police determined that a 61-year-old Lake Orion woman needed immediate assistance and called for medical aid.
While waiting for medical assistance, the woman assaulted a police officer.
The officer was not injured.
The woman was transported to the hospital and arrested and issued a court summons for obstructing a police officer.
Disorderly Flint man will get a day in district court
Lake Orion police received a call about a disturbance on Buena Vista Avenue at 2:46 a.m. Dec. 6.
After investigating the complaint, police determined that a 38-year-old Flint, MI man was allegedly being disorderly.
The man was arrested and given a summons to appear in the 52nd/3rd District Court in Rochester Hills for disorderly conduct.
Reckless driver crashes near the Orion/Miller/Flint roundabout
A reckless driver who crashed his car at the Orion/Miller/Flint roads roundabout will have to appear in court.
Lake Orion police received a notice from the Oakland County Sheriff’s dispatch at 8:50 p.m. Dec. 6 that a vehicle was speeding northbound from Adams Road.
The Lake Orion police officer responded and saw the vehicle crashed at the roundabout.
The driver, a 17-year-old Rochester Hills male, was arrested and given a summons to appear in the 52nd/3rd District Court for reckless driving.
Neither alcohol or drugs appeared to be a factor in the crash, police said after investigating.
