There was no stroller waiting for her
Deputies responded to the 600 block of Conklin at 8:35 p.m. May 21 for a larceny report.
An Orion Township woman, 30, reported she ordered a stroller on Mercari.com from a private seller; cost of the stroller was $150.00. She received a notification that her package had been delivered to her front door by FedEx at 1:36 p.m. that day. When the woman returned home at 4 p.m., there was no package at her door.
After confirming with FedEx that the package had been delivered, the woman filed a claim.
This incident is under investigation.

Thief targets televisions in theft
Deputies responded to the 100 block of Hummingbird at 10:20 p.m. May 21 for a report of home invasion.
An Orion Township woman, 50, reported her home was ransacked and two televisions stolen.
Deputies observed the front door appeared to have forced damage. They also observed obvious latent fingerprints on a cable box that had to be moved to steal a television.
Deputies processed the scene for evidence and submitted the cable box into evidence to be processed by the OCSO Crime Lab for fingerprints.
The serial numbers from the televisions were entered into LEIN as stolen property.

Unlocked vehicle a target of thieves
An Orion Township woman, 36, came into the Orion Substation at 4:36 p.m. May 22 to report a larceny from auto that occurred in her driveway in the 680 block of Bosco Drive on 5/16/19.
The woman stated there was no damage done to the vehicle as it was left unlocked but cash and gift cards were stolen from it.
There are no suspect(s) at this time.

Now you see it, now you don’t
A manager from Milosch’s Palace Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 3800 S. Lapeer Rd., came into the Orion Substation to report a stolen vehicle at 6:35 p.m. May 22.
Management noticed that a 2017 Dodge Challenger was taken from the parking lot sometime between 8:30 p.m. 5/20/19 and 9 a.m. 5/21/2019.
Management remember that the keys had been left in the ignition of the Challenger, which was parked in the northeast parking lot, when they left work at approximately 8:30 p.m. May 20. When they returned to work about 9 a.m. May 21, the Challenger was gone.
Deputies entered the vehicle into LEIN as stolen and requested the dealership’s video surveillance.

Vehicle’s continue to get vandalized
Deputies responded to the 3700 block of Hi Dale Dr. at 5:20 p.m. May 23 for a larceny report.
An Orion Township resident, 29, reported that sometime between 10 p.m. the night prior and 7:50 a.m. that morning, their vehicle was ransacked; reported stolen were a $40 Target gift card and three bath towels.
Be careful of who has your keys
Deputies responded to the 300 block of Shorewood Ct. at 7:36 p.m. May 23 for a larceny report.
An Orion Township man, 31, reported his Vizio television, drone and gimbal were missing from his residence which he is in the process of remodeling. The man added that a contractor doing the remodeling has a key to his home.
The man was advised to change his locks.

Running from law ends with jail stay
Deputies responded to Baldwin Rd. north of Waldon at 2:20 a.m. May 24 for a single road runoff crash. A vehicle went off the road onto a residential property striking a road sign and a fence before coming to rest on a resident’s front lawn.
Responding deputies arrived to find the driver of the vehicle had fled the crash scene on foot. Upon searching the area, they located the driver, an Orion Township man, 25, at his home.
Deputies checked the man’s welfare and saw evidence he had been driving the crashed vehicle. The man was unable to complete sobriety tests as instructed and submitted a PBT (preliminary breath test) registering .11 BAC (blood alcohol content).
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the hospital for a blood draw. He was then lodged at the Oakland county jail pending blood analysis.

Third time is not a charm for young man as he lands himself in jail
Deputies responded to a 911 call at 9:23 p.m. May 24 for a reckless driver driving a blue Chevy Malibu on Lapeer Rd. near Heights.
When deputies located the vehicle on Lapeer Rd. near Greenshield, they conducted a traffic stop.
A LEIN check revealed that the driver, 27, had multiple outstanding criminal bench warrants out of 50th District Court in Pontiac, for Obstructing Police and Domestic Assault.
The man was placed under arrest on his warrants and lodged at the Oakland County Jail.
