Perfecting Cager skills

Sixty basketball players filled with energy and excitement overtook the Clarkston High School gym last week for Fife Fundamentals Camp.
“It was a great week,” said Dan Fife, head coach for the Clarkston Boys Varsity Basketball team. “The kids? enthusiasm is incredible, to have these kids for four days in this kind of hot weather in the gym. It was good to see.?
The boys worked on their skills from shooting to defense.
“I saw a lot of progress this week,” Fife told the campers. “Don’t sit around. Time for you to do something on your own. Take time to prepare now.”
He also left the boys with some things to think about in sports and life. He told them to always do the right thing, do the best they can in the classroom, don’t let emotions control the game, and, most importantly, to listen especially to their parents.
