Oxford to get a taste of Irish culture at Stew Stroll

Don’t miss out on the fun and shenanigans Saturday, March 15 as the Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Stew Stroll in downtown’s Centennial Park.
At 1 p.m., attendees can slurp down tasty Irish stews from local restaurants The Oxford Tap, Victoria’s Delights, Boulder Pointe, Kalloway’s Restaurant & Pub, Historic White Horse Inn and the new John Marx Steakhouse. Red Knapp’s American Grill will provide bread.
Don’t miss the treasure hunt for gold starting at 1:30 p.m. throughout town for kids 12 and under, with a parent, of course.
Those who collect the most gold will receive prizes, such as Detroit Pistons tickets, Oxford 7 movie tickets and Meijer gift cards.
More fun will ensue with face painting, games and even a real live leprechaun.
The Stew Stroll is sponsored by POH Medical Center, Stephens & Moore Attorneys at Law, Lakes Community Credit Union, the Historic White Horse Inn and Echo Grove Salvation Army Camp.
