Annie Williams, 2007 Oxford High School graduate is among 200 new graduates of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She received her D.O. degree at hooding ceremonies in East Lansing on May 7. Williams took her premedical studies at MSU obtaining a B.S. degree in psychology. She is beginning a residency in psychiatry at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

Patrick Misch, of Leonard, received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Valparaiso University, Ill. at the commencement ceremony in May.

Jonell Pariseau, Oxford resident and 2006 Oxford High School graduate, graduated from Michigan State University on May 8. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with dual specializations in both dance and public relations. Jonelle completed her degree in a record three years, taking on 19-23 credits a semester while performing with MSU’s ImpulseDance on campus and at events around the state. She was also president and founding member of MSU’s chapter of Phi Sigma Theta co-ed honors fraternity. Jonelle will open Studio 8 Dance Arts Center of Southeast Michigan, where she is owner and artistic director. She is the daughter of Kent and Rebecca Pariseau of Oxford.

Kyle P. Heppner, of Oxford, has been named to the Dean’s List for spring term at Northwood University. The announcement was made by John D. Grether, academic dean of the university. Heppner is a senior and achieved Dean’s List by earning a 3.25 grade point on a 4.0 scale.

Beth Hubbard and Joseph Caporale were named to Alma College Dean’s List for their outstanding academic performance during the 2009 Winter Term. Hubbard, senior, and Caporale, freshman, achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average during a term, while carrying a minimum of 13 credits, at least eight of which are evaluative grades, are named to the Dean’s List.

Teller, sophomore, studying General Sciences and Arts achieved a grade point average of 4.0. Michael A. Brendel, sophomore, studying Chemical Engineering and Brian C. Dial, junior, studying Biological Sciences achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
