Oxford boy bags 11-point buck

Oxford resident, Hunter Grubb, 10, got the shot of a lifetime on Oct. 29.
He nailed a monster 181-pound, 11-point buck with an 18?-inch spread during his first year of hunting.
Grubb took the deer down with his Browning Midas bow. The deer was less than 15 yards from his ground blind.
‘My dad started using a grunt call so the deer would come close to where we were,? Hunter said. ‘The deer started to run towards our blind and I pulled back my bow and let it go.?
Hunter was hunting that afternoon with his twin brother, Dylan (left), and father, Dean.
‘I felt really excited and I was so happy that I hit the deer,? he said. ‘I was shivering because it was so big.?
