The Orion Township Public Library announced Friday that they will begin offering more e-books and downloadable audiobooks to the library’s patrons via the cloudLibrary app.
With cloudLibrary, Orion Township residents will also be able to use virtual library cards. Library users will be able to use their virtual card for anything that previously required a physical card. Users will also be able to add multiple cards and switch between accounts with ease.
This addition is expected to make waitlists shorter for digital titles and allow residents to have greater access to titles owned by other Michigan Libraries.
“We are excited about this service and the increased convenience it provides for out patrons both in and outside of the library’s walls,” said library Director Karen Knox . “We are joining a growing collaborative effort of Michigan libraries to share digital content in a more convenient manner.”
Bibliotheca’s cloudLibrary app is available to download for free in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or by visiting www.yourcloudlibrary.com. — M.K.
