Orion first responders save woman from overdose

Oakland County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Orion Township Fire Department went to the 30 block of Sparrow Hill Drive at 2:23 a.m. on Tuesday after getting a call about a possible drug overdose.

First responders located the victim, a 56-year-old Pontiac woman, and administered two doses of Narcan, an incident report from the sheriff’s office stated.

The woman’s friend who called 911 said that the woman had taken prescription medications and consumed alcohol.

Paramedics took the woman to McLaren Oakland Hospital for more treatment. – J.N.
