A message from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office – Orion Twp.
Sept. 25 is national See Something, Say Something Day and the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office in Orion Township wants residents who hear or see anything suspicious or potentially harmful to say something.
Orion Township is continually rated as one of the safest communities in the state and country, however this is not by chance. A lot of hard work and preventive planning goes into remaining a top-rated safe community.
One of the most important components in our safe community formula is you! Our residents are engaged and keenly aware of activity that appears suspicious or harmful.
Informed, alert communities play a critical role in keeping our nation safe. Stay alert and spread the word about suspicious activity reporting.
Describe specifically what you observed, including: Who or what you saw or heard, When you saw it; Where it occurred; and Why it’s suspicious.
Immediately Call 248-858-4911. If there is an emergency, call 911.
Information provided may be key information which allows public safety officials to piece together facts that will help them be preventive and responsive.
Remember! You can speed us up, slow us down, however you cannot make up the time if you do not Say Something!
