Michigan Taco Fest takes over Canterbury Village

Canterbury Village hosted their first ever Taco Fest this past weekend.

The packed event saw over 20,000 visitors during its three day span with some waiting hours to try some of the best tacos Michigan has to offer.

Complete with a taco eating contest, a burrito rolling contest, a hot pepper eating contest, margarita madness, Lucha Libra wrestling, monster truck rides, mariachi bands, hundreds of food and beverage options and so much more — Taco Fest transformed what was once seen as a Christmas destination, into a premier event location in Orion’s own backyard.

Taco Fest is expected to return to Canterbury Village next year. — M.K.
