The Lake Orion High School boys swim and dive team headed to North Farmington High School on Jan 30 suffering a hard loss 102-81.

In the diving portion, senior Alex Brent took first while sophomore William Kahrl scored second, followed closely by Blake Burgess who finished in third.

Individually, junior Brendan Ledtke took second in the 200-yard freestyle, followed by senior Ben Gregg in third and freshman Eddie Cromwell in sixth.

In the 50-yard freestyle, junior Dane Herrick claimed the top spot, with sophomore Cooper Clausen taking fourth and freshman Sebastian Selem placing fifth.

Freshman Evan Fox was on fire in the 500 -yard freestyle with a time of 5:01.86. Sophomores Kevin Vanpoelvoorde and Shawinder Minhas finished third and sixth respectively.

The boys host Bloomfield Hills at 6 p.m. on Feb. 4 in the LOHS natatorium after the Review goes to press. — M.K.
