Lockhart’s BBQ in downtown LO closes for rebranding, renovations

Lockhart’s BBQ announced on Monday that it would close for rebranding and renovations.

“We are excited to announce that Lockhart’s BBQ in Lake Orion will be rebranding and will open up as a new concept in a few weeks. As of today, we will close for renovations and prepare for the new restaurant. It has been a great 3.5 years and we thank you for your patronage,” the company said via an announcement on Facebook on Monday.

Lockhart’s owner, Drew Ciora, did not return a request for comment by press time.

A post on Lockhart’s Facebook page said the company will honor gift certificates at its Royal Oak location. The Review could not verify the information, or if the rebranded restaurant would do so.

There is no mention about the nature of the rebranded restaurant or what cuisine it will serve
