The Lake Orion Sunrise Rotary Club hosts its 3rd annual Cajun Seafood Festival from noon-5p.m. Aug. 10.

Proceeds from the festival benefit the club’s international project with the La Casa del Nino-Napoleon Franco Pareja Children’s Hospital in Cartagena, Colombia.

Tickets to the festival are $45 for adults, $20 for kids, and are available through Eventbrite.com (type Lake Orion Sunrise Rotary in the search tab). The Seafood Festival is at 35 Cayuga Road.

The Seafood Festival – artistically prepared under the direction of Rotarian Marc Vezina – features traditional Cajun cuisine, seafood boils, Jambalaya, adult beverages and yard games.

The Lake Orion Sunrise Rotary Club meets regularly at 7:30 a.m. on Thursdays at CJ’s Lakeside Grill in downtown Lake Orion.
