The Lake Orion High School wrestling team traveled to Livonia Franklin High School on Feb. 2 where the Dragons took on both Livonia Franklin and Novi, splitting the two meets 42-21 and 51-24 respectively.

Several Lake Orion wrestlers were undefeated in the meet including Chad Parker, Ryder Smith, Micah Wellbaum, Jacob Corless and Edwin Morris.

The boys headed to Madison High School in Adrian on Saturday where they competed in the Madison Individual Invite and took home 3rd place out of 17 other high school teams.

Top placers for Lake Orion include Abe Luebbert (152) and Judah Kinne (285) who both took 1st place in their weight category.

Being awarded 2nd place in their weight classes were Cavan McIntyre (140), Corless (171) and Casey Robertson (189).

Taking 3rd in their weight classes were Parker (103), Hunter Swatosh (119), Wellbaum (160), and Landon Morris (285).Morris (285) placed 5th in his weight class.

The Dragons head to districts this week at Lapeer High School on Feb. 9.
