Lake Orion’s girls soccer team headed to Royal Oak High School on April 16 and left with 6-3 victory over the Ravens.
In the first few minutes of the game freshman defender Kacy Lauer scored the first goal, giving the Dragons an early lead.
Lake Orion scored three goals in the first half. Royal Oak kept up pace with the Dragons scoring three goals of their own.
The ladies pulled away in the second half scoring three more goals to secure the win.
Freshman forward Annamarie Fosmoen, scored a hat trick and Senior forward Grace Cady had two goals.
On April 18 the Dragons hosted the Groves High School Falcons.
It was a slow starting game with no goals scored in the first half.
Sophomore Melissa Normand scored the first goal for the Dragons and senior Marisa Szydlowski also contributed a goal.
The Dragons defeatd the Falcons 2-1.
Their record improves to 3-3-1 and they are undefeated in division play. The ladies travel to Avondale to take on the Yellowjackets on Thursday. — M.K.
