Ladycats off to 2-0 in FML

The Ladycats are 2-0 in the Flint Metro League after Monday night’s 53-37 win over Lapeer West.
Sophomore Allie Laidlaw led the scoring with 16 points, while junior captain Joelle Harms added 11.
Last Friday, the girls also defeated Clio 68-50. Junior Jessica Raisch had 15 points and seven rebounds, Harms had 12 points and 12 rebounds and junior captain Brooke Bocquet had 12 points.
On Friday, the Ladycats will take on Swartz Creek at home at 6 p.m. and Holly next Tuesday at 7 p.m.
‘Our game plan for Friday is to keep playing solid defense and clean up our offensive execution,? said Coach Al Poynter. ‘Our effort has been outstanding all season, but we need to feed our energy on defense with better production on offense.?
The girls? record is now 3-2 overall.
