Lake Orion’s varsity girls basketball team wrapped up their season with a heartbreaking 42-33 loss to the Rochester Adams Highlanders on March 24.

Junior Katie Van Heck led the Dragons in scoring with nine points and also contributed six rebounds. Sophomore Maddie Ebbert pitched in six points, three steals and three assists. Fellow sophomore Taylor Dinda added five points, two boards and two assists to the effort.

The Dragons finish the season 11-8 overall and hold first-place in the OAA Blue with an 8-2 record. — M.K.
