Lake Orion’s girls lacrosse team started regional play on May 17 with their first matchup against Waterford Kettering.
The ladies defeated the Captains 13-7 giving them their first win during regional play.
The Dragons advanced to game two of the regional playoffs against Lakeland High School on May 21.
In the nail-biting head-to-head, Lake Orion defeated Lakeland 8-7.
Sydney Myszenski scored a goal with 6 seconds left to seal the win.
The Dragons take on Walled Lake Central for their third Regional game on May 28 after Lake Orion Review press time. — M.K.
