A Luau by the Lake was held last Thursday at Northern Flooring & Interiors, raising more than $15,000 for renovation of a building at Crossroads for Youth that will be transformed into a residential dorm for girls utilizing their services. The project is being coordinated through Design for a Difference, coupling socially conscious businesses together to makeover much needed spaces at local charities.

Crossroads for Youth, based in Oxford, provides at-risk children a safe environment to receive counseling, therapy, educational aid and much needed support.
