Oxford/Orion FISH has a holiday program to help those in our community who are living on a tight budget.
AngelFISH will match those in need with those willing to give. Instead of donating a random toy to a general toy drive, you’ll be able to select a toy that a child has especially requested on their ‘Wish List.?
AngelFISH allows a donor to adopt one or multiple children and select an age and gender preference.
Each donor that agrees to purchase gifts for a child will receive clothing-size information and a short list of gifts on that child’s Wish List.
Children wishing to be ‘adopted? range in age from newborn to 17. FISH expects to match donors to more than 200 children.
If you’d like to help by participating in AngelFISH, please call the FISH Hotline at (248)693-0638. Gifts will need to be purchased by Dec. 6.
Detailed instructions as to the date/time and place of the gift drop-off will be provided with the Wish Lists. FISH will distribute gifts to the families on Dec. 8.
If you don’t have time to shop, FISH will gladly accept cash donations of gift cards and have volunteers shop for you.
