Last week, we asked our followers “With new restrictions put in place by the MDHHS (Michigan Department of Health and Human Services) as well as encouragement from leaders to refrain from gathering on Thanksgiving, how has that impacted your plans?”

We had 49 people respond to the poll on Facebook, with 38 people stating that they had just immediate family gathering; six people said they were celebrating virtually; three people indicated that they were having no celebration and two people said they were celebration with the works — full family gathering.

On Twitter, we received 15 votes, with 7 people stating that they had just immediate family gathering; two people said they were celebrating virtually; three people indicated that they were having no celebration and three people said they were celebration with the works — full family gathering.

Unscientific results: A majority of our followers celebrated Thanksgiving with their immediate family.
