Last week, we asked our followers: “How long do you believe Lake Orion Community Schools will be able to maintain a face-to-face/in-person learning model?”
We had 45 people respond to the poll on Facebook, with 24 people predicting student’s will stay in-person Until the end of the school year; 12 people said they thought face-to-face learning will last a month; nine people indicated that they felt in-person learning would only last A week; and no one said they thought in-person would make it Maybe until Spring.
On Twitter, we received 18 votes, with 13 people predicting student’s will stay in-person Until the end of the school year; two people said they thought face-to-face learning will last a month; two people indicated that they felt in-person learning would only last A week; and one person said they thought in-person would make it Maybe until Spring.
“I’m hoping people will respect safety protocols (e.g. masking, hand washing, distancing) because it’s important for the kids to be in school & not trying to learn remotely.
“Also, looking forward to Pres. Biden who will emplace robust programs & funding to help schools & teachers.” said our Twitter follower Sheryl Wragg.
Unscientific results: A majority of our followers are expecting LOCS to remain in-person/face-to-face until the end of the school year.
