Adults can also join in on the fun of Book Publishing or Arts and Crafts classes.
Study skills are an important to enjoy a successful career as a student. ‘We believe if you can teach a child how to learn more effectively, they will be better students,? said Powers. ‘The learning process is not just absorbing what the teacher says in the classroom environment.?
Study skills help students learn to identify essential information, main points and important principals. She added Excel Academics strives to help students develop these building blocks that make learning easier in the future.
Excel will also offer Literatures. ‘We will choose a best-selling book and conduct literature circles,? she said. Students will enjoy reading a novel and then actively participate in a variety of roles. ‘We discuss the elements of the story and how to write a summary.?
