The Down Syndrome Guild of North Oakland County had its Special Needs Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 17 at the Lake Orion Knights of Columbus Hall.
The DSG Trunk-or-Treat has expanded over the past few years to include special needs youth from the Orion and Oxford communities, and their families and friends.
The evening included trick-or-treating at specially decorated trunks, snacks and music.
The Knights of Columbus and the Lake Orion Police Department participated in the trunk-or-treat, and Lake Orion High School students volunteered to run tables, take pictures, decorate a vehicle trunk and trick-or-treat with the kids.
