On October 5, the varsity boys tennis team hosted the Stoney Creek Cougars for the last home match of the 2021 season. It was a tough, competitive match as the Cougars play a division above the Dragons.

The courts were alive with action as many matches went into long play challenges and tie breakers. Junior no. 5 doubles Daniel Pavelich and Ben Bojanowski achieved an 8-2 victory.

Later, on October 7, the team traveled, playing all day at Rochester Adams and Clarkston High Schools for the OAA Regional meet where the team took 4th place, with an individual win by no. 2 singles Jin Yim beating Clarkston 6-3,7-5.

The JV and varsity team gathered together last week to celebrate the season with 44 players on both teams. They are committed to building the program in the offseason and are looking forward to a strong and competitive 2022 season.
