The Orion Township board approved a recommendation from their planning commission to appoint Mark Crane as the planning commission’s representative to the zoning board of appeals for the remainder of 2008.
Crane takes the spot of Brad Lare, who resigned from the planning commission earlier this summer after taking a job out of town. He was recognized for his service to the community at the board’s Aug. 18 meeting.
