Fourth graders at Clear Lake Elementary spent the day blind, deaf and handicapped as part of the Disability Awareness Workshop on Nov. 9.
The free workshop, sponsored by Oakland Schools, is meant to help the young students understand what it is like to be handicapped.
Students learned about physical disabilities, learning disabilities along with visual and hearing impairments.
