The Oxford Varsity competitive cheer team ended their regular season March first with a 4th place finish at the regional competition at Lake Orion High School.
Unfortunately, the girls didn’t make the cut to continue onto the state level competition.
Oxford scored a 201 in round one, a 191.348 in the second and 279.5 in the third round for a total of 671.848 points.
‘Overall, we had a great season,? said Coach Alanna Stockley. ‘We started with a very young team with over half who had never cheered before.?
But half-way through the season, the girls were getting 2nd and 3rd places.
‘There is a lot of talent on this team, and it will be great to see them next year,? she said. Oxford finished 3rd in the FML.
