Cultural exchange

Pine Knob Elementary’s fourth and fifth grade classes hosted a visit by Adam Wolf and Hiroe Kamasuda from the Detroit Consulate General of Japan, Dec. 16. The teachers are visiting schools around metro Detroit, with Pine Knob the only Clarkston school, to teach children about Japanese culture, traditions, schools, and language. – Phil Custodio

Although the weather was chilly, spring was in the air as Daniel Axford and Oxford elementaries hosted their annual fair Saturday. Plenty of games, activities and sweet treats awaited kids of all ages as OES was converted into one big amusement park filled with laughter and merriment.
