The Lake Orion boys varsity soccer team lost to Oxford 2-1 in the district semifinal match on Oct. 19 at Lake Orion High School.

Oxford went on to lose 5-0 to Clarkston in the district final.

Lake Orion had defeated Flushing High School 6-0 in the first round of District 12 play on Oct. 14.

The Dragons finished the season with a 12-8-2 overall record, and in fifth place at 2-3-1 in the Oakland Activities Association White division. – J.N.
