For those not familiar with how the bowling matches are scored, here is a brief rundown.
Each team bowls a total of four games at each meet and strive to get a total of 30 points. Two of the matches are considered baker games, and two are called head-up games.
A baker game is when each member of the team throws alternating shots, i.e. player one will throw for the first and sixth frame, player two will throw for the second and seventh frame, and so on.
Each of these games are worth four points. Whoever wins each game gets an extra two points added to their score.
For head-up competition, each school has individual teammates compete one-on-one for one point each game. Whoever wins those games gets an extra four points.
Whichever team’s point score is 16 or more wins the match.
