‘A lot of the items we carry, the companies we buy from, are not mass merchandized,? said Lisa Ryan, owner. ‘They are specialty items. Your going to find a lot of original gifts here.?
Beautiful Home, located at 6684 Dixie Hwy, Suite F, opened the third week of October. Ryan said she got the idea for the company while researching her options for floral arranging businesses.
‘I kind of came into it in a round about way,? said Ryan. ‘I was doing research on the web and came across making gift baskets and such. I knew I didn’t want to own a flower shop, and making the gift baskets with unique products tied into my floral arranging nicely.?
Beautiful Home features several Michigan and Midwest product lines. All of the companies used as suppliers are small, privately owned establishments.
‘We have a continuously changing product line,? said Ryan.
