The Lake Orion Village Council voted last week to uphold a recommendation of their Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee and expand the beach area at Green’s Park by about 15 feet. The beach expansion will be handled by the village’s department of public works, at a cost of $2,500, including labor.
The township clerk’s office will be at the Orion Township Public Library on June 28 for voter registration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Time is running out to register for the August primary election. Interested persons can always register in person at the clerk’s office (2525 Joslyn Road).
