Virginia Mirakian, a resident at the Lake Orion Nursing Center, celebrated her 99th birthday (according to the center) on May 21 with a family party. Her family said they think she is actually 100. Mirakian lived in Holland Park before moving to the center three years ago. She is pictured here with her great-great grandchildren.
