A step into the Renaissance for holidays

Guests walked through the doors at Harvestland Church and were transported to merry olde England as the Clarkston High School Vocal Arts Department presented their third annual Ye Olde Madrigal Dinner last Friday and Saturday.
The inspiration came from the 16th and 17th centuries, the height of the Renaissance period and the students stepped into roles of royalty and servers.
Guests of King Markus Rogers and Queen Jordan Stuart were treated to dinner, songs and humor from the court jester Manny Estrada. The night ended with students and guests singing “Silent Night.”
