The Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority hosted the annual Halloween Extravaganza on Oct. 18 in Children’s Park in downtown Lake Orion. More than 1,000 costume-clad children and their families showed up to trick-or-treat, enjoy apple cider and donuts, dance to Halloween-themed music in the gazebo and, of course, expend some of their seemingly limitless energy on the playground.
