Gary Richard Workman of Wray, Colorado, formerly of Thornton, Colorado and Lake Orion, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022. He was 73.
Gary was in an Alzheimers Center in Colorado for the last couple years of his life.
Gary was the loving husband of Connie (Crider); father of Jacque (Javan) Jones and Josh Workman. He was the papa of Addison, Grace and Cooper Jones; brother Janet (Walt) Perry, Jean (Roy) Rouse, Bonnie (Chris) Callas and Jerry (Heidi) Workman.
Gary was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, camp, boat and ride quads in the mountains. He had a great love of music and taught himself to play guitar many years ago.
Gary graduated from Lake Orion High School in 1967 and moved to Colorado were he lived for more than 45 years. He was employed in Denver at General Electric for more than 40 years and retired in 2014.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held in Colorado in the near future.
