Andrew Hyder has been on a tear recently for the Goodrich boys soccer team.
Hyder, a junior forward, scored four goals as the Martians defeated host Hemlock 6-1 Sept. 16, improving their season record to 3-1-2. Senior forward Brian Bourcier added two goals for Goodrich.
On Sept. 11, Goodrich tied Freeland at one goal apiece, as Hyder scored the Martians’ lone goal.
The Martians defeated host Millington 4-1 in a Sept. 9 contest. Junior Ryan Cardneau scored two goals for Goodrich, while Hyder added one. Millington accidently kicked the ball into their own net for Goodrich’s other goal.
Goodrich travels to Caro for a Sept. 23 contest.
