OHS girls soccer lose defensive battle

Th Oxford High School girls soccer team lost a very close away game to Groves 1-0.
Coach Larry Ferris said that the game was close the entire way, with no score until late in the day. After the defensive standoff, ‘a shot from outside the 18 box got through the hands of keeper Darien Bandel,? the coach said.
Even still, Oxford’s Darien Bandel had 7 saves in all, lifting her season high to 141 saves.
OHS now moves to an overall record of 7-13-1, and 1-8-1 in the White Division League.
