Two double teams stood out as the Boys Varsity Tennis team lost their OAA match against Lahser on Sept. 14.
Jordan Kincaid and Kevin Wieryszko won their matches, 6-4 and 6-1, while Garrett Smigelski and Dominic Spadoni won theirs 6-3 and 7-5, posting the only wins in the 6-2 loss.
The boys headed to Detroit Catholic Central to face off against Troy, Grand Rapids Catholic Central and their host in a Quad Tournament.
They were unable to finish because of the rainy weather. Matt Dahl was able to finish his sets against DCC, 6-3 and 6-1, and stood out for the day.
“He played really well,” said Coach Chas Claus. “He was pretty dominant in his performance. It was a great win for him and probably the best he has played all year.”
The boys played Rochester on Tuesday and head to Rochester Adams on Wednesday and Lake Orion on Thursday, a rescheduled game from last week.
