Families ventured to Wint Nature Center on June26 for its 25th anniversary celebration.
The fun included the Oakland County Parks and Recreation puppet mobiles, inflatables, climbing tower and entertainment.
When visitors needed a break from the hot sun they ventured inside for face painting and more hands-on learning.
Oakie the squirrel, the Oakland County Parks and Recreation mascot, also stopped by Independence Oaks.
