This year’s theme was the Daytona and Andersonville Elementary students had their engines ready and sneakers geared for last Wednesday’s Fun Run.
Wearing their class colors and representing a NASCAR driver, the kids ran around the track and collected a rubber band for each lap they completed.
Before racing, the students and teachers posed with Super Eagle and a race car from Southern Motors on Dixie Highway.
Support from other classes and parents, along with music and an energetic pit crew kept the kids going for their races.
