Alex Popp led the boys to their fourth place spot at the Hammer & Anvil tournament during the weekend.
Popp placed first in his 145-weight class.
Jeff Sloney (112), Ty Foltz (125), Matt Deitz (135) and Sloan Hadsall (171) took third place in their weight classes.
Mike Richmond (215) took fourth place followed by Mike Henige (125), Kyle Broughton (135) and Naron McDougal (140) in fifth. Evan King (152) placed in sixth and Raymond Wilkie (103) took seventh.
Earlier in the week, the boys lost to number two ranked Temperance Bedoford, 40-20.
Sloney (119), Deitz, Popp and Matt Vandermeer (160) contributed with winning their matches by scoring the most points during the three periods.
Mike Henige (125) won his match with a pin 33 seconds into the first round.
The boys travel to Rochester to wrestle Rochester and Rochester Adams on Wednesday and will take on Lake Orion next Wednesday.
