Children gathered for Independence Township Parks and Recreation’s annual Teddy Bear Picnic. They dressed their favorite bear for the sports-themed day.
Miss Amanda read the group two stories before Mr. Sports Bear made a special appearance.
The kids walked in a parade, played basketball and soccer, and enjoyed a hot dog lunch complete with apple sauce, cookies, chips, and water.
