After taking Rochester Adams by storm, varsity tennis players are ready for their OAA league meet this Saturday.
At the league meet, the girls will face teams they played earlier in the season.
They will play against Lasher, Seaholm, Troy, North Farmington, West Bloomfield and Groves.
They fell to Lasher (5-3) and West Bloomfield (6-2), and know what they will have to face going against them again this weekend.
‘West Bloomfield is tough,? said Clarkston coach Craig Judd. ‘They give us all they can handle. They are an excellent team. We will have to work hard.?
They beat Adams last Thursday, 8-0. The girls won all of their sets.
The scores for singles were Nicole Janek (6-4, 6-1), Alyssa Lucas (6-0, 6-2), Kristina Lucas (6-0, 6-0) and Blair McCarty (6-0, 6-2)
The scores for the doubles teams were Kate Cooley and Kelli McKay (6-0, 6-4), Stephanie Kincaid and Emi Allen (6-0, 6-0), Alexis Egler and Kelsey Crawford (6-4, 7-6) and Chelsea Hundzinski and Erica Zentner (6-4, 6-2).
On Monday, the girls played number one ranked Gross Pointe South.
Before the league meet, the girls host Rochester on Tuesday and Utica Eisenhower on Thursday at 4 p.m.
