Four injured in M-15 accident

Brandon Twp.- An 18-year-old Brandon Township woman was in critical condition at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital following an accident in which the car she was driving was hit by a tow truck.
The woman was driving a red Neon when she turned left onto M-15 from the Sunoco/Taco Bell, 1152 Ortonville Road, around 12:53 p.m., June 9, and was struck by the truck. Three passengers in her car, a woman from Clarkston and two men from Sterling Heights, all aged 18-21, were also injured and taken to Genesys Regional Medical Center, where one was in critical condition, while the other two were listed in stable condition at press time. Only the front seat passenger was wearing a seatbelt.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Michael Reeves, crash reconstructionist, said the investigation is continuing, but a witness has said the Neon’s driver did not stop before pulling out onto M-15. The truck driver has not been charged and was uninjured.
