Ortonville-Carteret Mortgage has set up shop in town after years of service in Goodrich.
The business recently made the move to 252 Ortonville Road to allow room for their expanding offices.
‘We’re a mortgage broker and we do refinancing, purchases, cash-out, new construction, commercial, self employed borrowers, stated income and assets,? said Lisa Dwyer, Branch Manager.
There are currently 38 employees at Dwyer’s branch and Cartert is now hiring loan officers at 70 percent commission.
Dwyer said loan officers are able to work from home and processing is available.
In addition to their large staff, Dwyer said Cartert has 400 lenders to choose from. ‘We have programs to suit every need,? said Dwyer.
Dwyer said Carteret Mortgage makes quality customer service a priority.
‘Average closing is 15 days and no points,? said Dwyer.
A sign showing the day’s interest rates sits outside the building, and is updated regularly to keep passers-by informed.
Carteret Mortgage specializes in: construction, poor credit borrowers, commercial loans, reverse amortization, second properties and investment properties.
The company also offers a credit repair program and will loan to people that are recently out of a bankruptcy or who don’t have income verification.
To introduce themselves to the community, Dwyer is offering to run free credit checks for new, potential customers.
‘Stop by and introduce yourself and get a free credit report,? said Dwyer. Details: (248) 627-7283
