Brandon-Oxford’s girls skiing team just missed out on finishing in the top three at the Southeast Michigan Ski League divisional meet Feb. 7-8.
The team finished fourth overall with 122 points. Fenton won the meet, while Grand Blanc finished second and Flushing third.
Karen Offer finished second in the meet in giant slalom and first in the slalom, while Miranda Christen took eighth in the giant slalom and seventh in the slalom.
The Brandon-Oxford boys unit finished fifth in the slalom at the divisional meet with 64 points. Aaron Van Dis finished sixth in that event, while Jason Hine placed 13th and Casey Drayton took 18th.
